Jean E. Palmieri

Jean Palmieri is WWD's senior editor of men’s, serving as the primary editorial liaison between the menswear industry and the publication and is responsible for coordinating daily menswear coverage. She also reports and writes breaking news stories and features on the state of the industry. Before joining the WWD editorial team, Palmieri served as executive editor of DNR, managing a staff of more than 20 people, including employees and stringers. Before joining Fairchild, Palmieri was the New York bureau chief of California Apparel News. She started her journalism career as an assistant editor for Direct Magazine. A New York City native, Palmieri has a BA in journalism and mass communications from New York University and lives with her husband and American Eskimo dog in the suburbs of the city, where she enjoys participating in triathlons.
